Electron beam lithography (EBL) is used to write nanoscale patterns and sits at the start of the nanofabrication chain. On glass and wide-bandgap semiconductors, electrical charge builds up during writing, which blurs and distorts the patterns and holds back progress in nanophotonics, quantum devices and MEMS. E-HERO is a highly conductive coating that is easily applied onto the surface, carries the charge away during EBL writing and results in precise nanoscale patterns.
